 'My work is based upon the futility of archiving and communication of past experience. I address the difficulty of this communication using the metaphor of cross sections and their relationship with outside surface to create images with incongruous dimension.
 
We live in a world of surface without content, each time a surface is broken the interior is not revealed only a new surface is created. This continuous surface then takes the form of different signs that trigger recollections just as imperceptible as the interior of said sign.
 
My painting process begins with a single image serving as catalyst for a train of thought and reminiscence that is then transcribed to a surface.'
